2024 Walking Fest

2024 Walk Fest - to celebrate 10 years of Walks into History - a walk for everyone!

To celebrate our group’s 10th birthday it was decided to put on a walk on each day of a week in July. We hoped that by putting on a walk each day of the week that as many of our 140 members as possible would be able to participate in at least one of the walks on offer. All the team were involved and put together a varied programme to suit all tastes and mobility, with several new walks.

A glorious week of walking and history marked our 10th birthday. We had 91 sign-ups over the five days and it was lovely to meet up with so many of our members.
