Kintbury to Hungerford

This walk has several sites associated with the Swing Riots of 1830. It is a 4 mile walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal, on level ground with no stiles visiting Kintbury Church where William Winterbourne, who was hanged for taking part, is buried. Then on to Hungerford to see two buildings attacked by the Swing Rioters.
